Dr. Troy McEwan

Dr Troy McEwan is a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science in Melbourne, Australia, and a Senior Clinical and Forensic Psychologist at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health. She has studied and worked with stalkers for over a decade and is co-author of the Stalking Risk Profile, a widely used set of structured guidelines for assessing stalking risks. In addition to her ongoing clinical work, Dr McEwan has published over 35 articles on stalking, arson, intimate partner violence, and risk assessment, and is co-author of a manualized psychological treatment program for stalkers. She has trained clinicians around the world in stalker assessment, and provides advice and training to police and government agencies in assessing and managing stalking and intimate partner abuse.
